Hugh Jackman And Deborra-lee Furness’s Minimalist Hamptons Home Is For Rent

If seeing Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness’s modern East Hamptons oasis in our November 2021 issue gave you heart-eyes, this could be your big opportunity. The Wolverine star and Australian actress have put the minimalist masterpiece up for rent over the winter at $166,666 per month, according to the New York Post.

The couple paid $3.5 million for the property in 2015 and then spent six years building and designing their ideal home. “This was my lifelong dream,” Furness told Architectural Digest during the 2021 tour. “It’s like, bucket list, tick it off. I’ve done it, and I loved it.” Furness and Jackman worked with Stelle Lomont Rouhani Architects to achieve their desired look, taking inspiration from Japanese and Moroccan aesthetics. “I love that we use every room, every day. Because of Deb’s design, it brings us all together,” Jackman added.

The waterfront compound rests on a 2.5-acre lot with a three-bedroom, five-bathroom main house and a guest house offering an additional bedroom and two bathrooms and a total of about 7,300 square feet. Floor-to-ceiling glass invites the outdoors in and two pathways guide the way to the nearby private beach. A large infinity-edge gunite swimming pool bordering the guest house and a mirror-edge spa built into the stone patio outside of the tranquil main house living room round out the outdoor amenities.

Interior highlights include the eye-catching Field & Co. dining table, which is hand-carved out of bleached walnut and took two years to build; a tiered movie theater complete with a concession area, and a primary suite complete with radiant heated floors and a water-view ensuite bathroom clad in marble-like Florim tiles, complete with a soaking tub and rain shower.
